BRITTNEY ANDERSON - LONG ISLAND STUDENT

 

Hi! My name is Brittney Anderson and I am here to tell you why I love ACT being a student of ACT so much and how it has changed my life.  First of all, I would like to just say that being a student of ACT in general is such a wonderful experience.  The main reason that I love coming to ACT so much is that the teachers are very nice and you also get learn about every subject there is to learn. From Improvisational Class to Image Development for Models; from Scene Study to Monologue Class, ACT truly teaches you everything you need to learn.

            ACT has truly changed my life in many ways. Three years ago, I didn’t want to talk to anyone and I was very shy, it kind of felt like I was living in a shell. As soon as I started ACT, that shell cracked open. I am now the School President of my Elementary School and say the Pledge of Allegiance and the School Announcements every morning on the loud speaker. Other responsibilities I must fulfill include: attending all Student Council Meetings and instructing other Student Council Members in meetings and other events.

            Another reason that adds on to why ACT has changed my life is that I now try to speak more often in front of crowds. I also present a different monologue every year at Recorder Recitals in my school. This year’s theme was “Why You Should Be a Kind Person.”

             In conclusion, I can say that ACT has truly changed my life and if you are interested in acting and love it a lot, become a student at ACT because it is the best decision you can make in your life. It will truly improve your acting life, social life, and your life in general. So, come on! Join ACT today!
